PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Edge Initiatives is driven by Steve Davies, the founder and CEO of a five-time Inc 500 company that he grew to over 200 employees, president of a public company and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

The Edge Team understands the problems facing CEOs and has used its unparalleled experience in this area to develop the Company Tune Up specifically for small to medium sized businesses. It is a streamlined process that draws upon the experience of Edge to complete analysis as quickly as possible…and with the least possible drain on senior management time.

• First, there is an intake meeting one-to-one with the CEO to enable Edge to understand the company’s existing goals, strategy, positioning and challenges.

• Next, the Edge Team performs a focused analysis that looks primarily at four key areas – organization and financial profile, revenue generation, strategic and operational improvements and cost reduction initiatives.

• Then, an action-oriented report is produced and discussed with the CEO.

• The report is then presented for discussion and review by the company’s senior management at a special meeting. During the meeting, it is turned into an action plan incorporating individual commitments to action items and their specific completion dates.

• After the action plan is finalized, a number of follow up meetings are scheduled, all attended by Edge.

Edge presents the action plan, builds consensus as to actions that must be taken and attends regular meetings to drive the process until all actions have been completed. Through this mechanism, Edge effectively holds management’s feet to the fire, ensuring effective implementation and the meeting of critical deadlines… in short, that the actions agreed to be necessary actually happen.
