Edge Initiatives is driven by Steve Davies, the founder and CEO of US Computer Group, one of only a handful of companies ever to place on the Inc 500 for five consecutive years, and a member of the Inc magazine Hall of Fame.

Edge understands the problems and has used its unparalleled experience in this area to develop the Growth Edge specifically for small to medium sized businesses that are experiencing rapid growth. It is a streamlined process that draws upon the experience of the Edge team to complete analysis as quickly as possible… and with the least possible drain on senior management time.

First, there is an intake meeting one-to-one with the CEO to enable Edge to understand the company’s existing goals, strategy, positioning and challenges.

Next, the Edge Team performs an analysis that draws on their experience by focusing exclusively on five key areas where pressure exhibits itself (HR, sales and competition, operations, financial issues and organizational issues).

Then, an action-oriented report is produced and discussed with the CEO.

The report is then presented for discussion and review by the company’s senior management at a special meeting. During the meeting, it is turned into an action plan incorporating individual commitments to action items and their specific completion dates.

After the action plan is finalized, a number of follow up meetings are scheduled, all attended by Edge.

Through this mechanism, Edge effectively holds management’s feet to the fire, ensuring effective implementation and the meeting of critical deadlines… in short, that the actions agreed to be necessary actually happen.
