DESCRIPTION
Edge Initiatives
is driven by Steve Davies, founder and CEO of a five-time Inc 500 company
that he grew to over 200 employees, president of a public company and
an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Steve is the master of shoestring marketing,
and he and his seasoned team have used their
hands-on experience to create the Marketing Edge specifically for
small to medium sized companies.
The Marketing Edge is a streamlined process that distills the essence
of the elements needed to produce a marketing plan and drive revenue growth
with
the minimum amount of management time.
The process begins with two
meetings with the CEO. The first is for Edge to understand the
companys existing goals, marketing strategy, positioning and challenges.
The second is for Edge to present a document summarizing the information
gleaned from the CEO and containing observations on the companys
marketing strategy and goals, and ideas for discussion.
Edge then comes on site
to perform an internal analysis of existing customers and build a short
survey questionnaire covering customer needs so as to build a database
that has consistent answers to key questions.
Once the research has been
gathered, Edge produces a draft Marketing
Plan for discussion with the CEO at an action-based meeting, and the
final plan is then produced. This is a strategic document that acts a
road map for the revenue growth of the company.
Once the Marketing Plan
has been adopted, Edge works with Sales to develop the
Revenue Generation Plan. This is an action document that covers the
revenue goals and the tactics needed to achieve them.
Edge remains involved and comes in monthly for six months to monitor
progress under the plan and hold feet to the fire. With these steps,
the Marketing Edge delivers practical results not always found in more
traditional consulting engagements.
This has been refined it into a streamlined process where the bulk of
the work is done by Edge rather than the company. Edge will assist
the CEO in strategy, positioning and developing revenue goals. It will
work with the Sales team to set up programs to drive the implementation
of new initiatives, products and services. Success of the program is
guaranteed or the out of pocket cost will be refunded.
